Campaigns
The society with which PGSS works suffers from various problems:
1. Poor health of the people is the first problem. A campaign has been
launched for creating awareness among the people regarding their health.
2.
Residents of the area do not have sufficient means of livelihood and
because of this many are caught in a web in indebtedness. A large
fraction of these indebted people owe money to the Government. A
campaign is underway for freeing these people from the debt.
3. Violence against women is the last
problem. PGSS feels that this violence can only be reduced by involving
men. A campaign is underway to tackle this problem.
